Vendredi 25.05.07 On the cyber highway again
Whahoo! The internet is working in school again. I spend so long in the computer room that I suddenly sit-up in a panic wondering why all is so quiet around me; I’ve never stayed around school so long and I don’t actually know what time everyone leaves at on a Friday. I needn’t have worried though because there are plenty of bum-numbing class hours left in the day. My eyes are googled, gmailed and gaisced out so it’s time to hit the heat outside anyway.
I spy Fabrice and a friend in town. They head into AirFrance as I’m passing to get the boat. The boat doesn’t come for ages and they end up getting the same one as me. Thankfully they’re deep in conversation so they don’t talk to me or stalk me…
J.P phoned to ask if I wanted to go to Salines this afternoon. He’s done with his classes but he still has administrative assignments and other duties to occupy the last month here. Nic can’t go either as she’s working for the latter part of the day.
More post awaits us at home; some political propaganda and a request for our next rent payment. I decide to test my rules of the road knowledge. It’s relatively easy and informative, and quite addictive; I think I’ll book my test pretty soon so I’m ready to go car shopping when I hit Cavan!
